Lokabharana is a women-owned fashion jewellery brand from Kowdiar, Trivandrum, Kerala, created with a genuine love for jewellery, fashion and entrepreneurship.

Lokabharana is one of the brands of Lokasamastha Private Limited, founded by Dr. Shanthi Franklin and Sreekala Dilip.

The idea started with their passion for jewellery and fashion. They wanted to create brands that bring together good design, Indian traditions and modern lifestyles, with products that women can enjoy every day.

This journey led to Lokabharana, created for women who love jewellery and enjoy changing their style for different occasions.

Meet Our Founders

Sreekala Dilip

Director

Sreekala Dilip is a Director of Lokasamstha and the inspiration behind Lokabharana. With her passion for fashion, jewellery, and traditional Indian styles, she wanted to create a brand that brings elegant, traditional-inspired jewellery to modern women.

Her sense of style and understanding of changing fashion trends help Lokabharana offer jewellery that is beautiful, affordable, and easy to wear for every occasion.

Dr. Shanthi Franklin

Co-Founder | Director & Chief Physician, Shinshiva Ayurveda

Dr. Shanthi Franklin is the Co-Founder of Lokasamstha and the Director and Chief Physician of Shinshiva Ayurveda. Her deep connection with Indian traditions, Kerala culture, fashion, and traditional aesthetics has influenced the vision behind Lokasamstha and its brands.

Her interest in traditional Indian fashion and jewellery, along with her entrepreneurial experience, helped inspire the creation of Lokabharana—bringing timeless traditional designs together with modern style and affordability.

The founders have different professional backgrounds but share the same interest in building something meaningful and growing it with their own hands.

From Lokasamastha to Lokabharana

Lokasamastha is the parent company behind Lokabharana and Samasthra.

Each brand has its own identity.

Lokabharana is our fashion jewellery brand for women who enjoy wearing jewellery as part of their everyday style.

Samasthra is our women's fashion brand, bringing together sarees, traditional-inspired clothing and contemporary styles.

Both brands grew from the same idea—to create products that women would genuinely enjoy using and wearing.

Why We Started Lokabharana

Jewellery is not only something women wear for weddings or big celebrations.

Earrings can change an everyday outfit. A necklace can transform a plain saree. A bangle or anklet can add elegance.
